Weekly Photo Challenge: Abstract

This week we were encouraged to point our cameras at something familiar and turn it into something else.  To seek out the abstract.  To fulfill my mission I took the camera out around The Homestead, because there’s a whole lot of delightful springy things going on out there.

    1. yes…some kind of fern. And, confession, I didn’t originally choose black and white. After it showed up on my FB feed my sister-in-law (a photographer as well) commented that it might pop in black and white. I don’t tend to think of black and white…or when it’s best applied. Something else to add to the list of things to learn!

      1. I don’t gravitate to black and white either. The form of it seems to pop with the b&w though

      2. She also suggested playing with the contrast and clarity…I’ve just not gotten around to it, yet. Going to the Caribbean soon…can’t wait to catch that color!!
